    Ohhhhh! Patient teaching. I love explaining the action of a drug to my residents. I nerd out on stuff like that.

    Gym, photography and I have a motorcycle I ride everywhere. I also have a huge garden, I can food and I make homemade soap.

    I have described 10 as currently having your arm ripped off by a wookiee.

    Oh, boy-YES! Or send a CNA to me because they want a pain pill, and then when I get in there, want their prn zofran, a prn breathing treatment, oh, and can I bring them a can of two cal? Hahahahaha....This is another grating little instance-not that ...

    The ones that sit at my cart every day with a new self-diagnosis/symptom that most definitely requires some sort of new narcotic, usually stronger than the 3-4 they already have prn.

    If you keep doing it enough, maybe she will stop. It has worked for me in similar situations. I am in LTC now, but was in peds home health for 6 years. I know your pain! I would either crumple it and toss or leave it aside and ignore it.

    Agree with this. As a student, our clinical instructors absolutely forbade us to pass off any care to the CNA.
  10. How about tin-itis instead of tinnitus? Oh, that one really got me when my nursing school instructor would say that.....
