    I feel I have more knowledge and experience and am able to take on more responsibility. So my role is changing as I am able to cope with new situations. I feel I can still ask my colleaugues for advice if it is needed.

    Just finishing 12 months since graduating, I have been fostered by wonderful preceptors and colleagues. The patient /nurse ratio has been carefully monitored. And it is with pride that I sign RN by my name. I feel valued where I work.

    In New Zealand here we use stewed prunes with kiwifruit pureed in it. Also a product called kiwicrush which the pt.s drink. It usually works very well. We have it in the fridge on the ward all the time. Great stuff.

    Yes, In New Zealand many nurses are wearing soft clog type shoes called, nothings, or frogs. Some are wearing cloggins. No more aching legs at night. I find them great and also you can dump them in a bucket of water and disenfect them. Oh yes they d...
