   sorry.. that was a typo--its actually 1000 usd. yes, it's expensive, but that's at pwu. i haven't checked with olivarez college yet. so far, pwu is the most expensive school i've inquired at.. thanks for the info! :)

   they have a separate alien fee thats around php1k--i have to check on this because the person on the phone was very vague--that you have to pay before prelims. plus the joining fee and residence (can't remember the correct term) fee amounting to php2...

   I agree. BTW, I finished high school and college here. I have an ACR--the Filipino equivalent of the green card. But I'm still under the category of foreign student.

   I just want to add that I called Perpetual Help a couple of days ago and was informed that they don't accept foreign students. I wonder why? Anyway, foreigners who actually bother to enroll are told to get dual citizenship. Extra info--Southeast Asia...
