    Well, I work on a transplant floor and we have pretty good patient ratios. On the day shift you usually have 2-3 patient (2 if you have a post-transplant patient), evenings 2-3 patients and nights 3-4 patient.

  5. What do I need in my pockets?

    I only carry a blank pen (I usually end up with many by the end of the shift), assignment sheet and a sharpie. We have carts in the room with everything else in them (tape etc). I find if I have to much stuff in my pockets - I can't find anything!!!
