    It is just common courtesy to help out where it is needed, since when do the skills on the floor exceed those in the unit! The charting might be different, but the patient care is the same. Quit whining and do the work you are paid for!:pumpiron:

    In my opinion, you should absolutely DEMAND every bit of the ACLS, TNCC, PALS, ECG etc. classes and at least 12 weeks of orientation. You are only cheating yourself out of an education (and possibly a license) if you work without these critical skill...

    I am starting at a staffing agency at 36.50 an hour, with a 2.00 weekend differential and a 4.00 night diff. Have 4 years experience in ICU. This is in Colorado.
