About nanseatx

Became and LVN in 1985 and the returned to school in 1998 to become the Associate Degree RN I am now. I currently work in a large ER in the DFW area of Texas.

    I went to a wonderful program at Austin Community College and recommend it to anyone. The instructors are great. Like all programs, it isn't a shoe-in to get there but I got in the first year I applied. Good luck.

  12. Would You Pray if your Patient asked?

    New to the scene, I am, but in 18 years of nursing, I have had this request many times and have always said yes. As a former Oncology nurse and now an ER nurse, sometimes prayer is all that gets me and the patient through a trying time.
