Organic Chemistry is a pre-req for one of the nursing programs that I am interested in. Intro to Chem is not required. The school where I am taking my pre-reqs will allow me to take the Organic class without the Intro to Chem as long as I am transferring to another school. I wanted to know if it is a bad idea to waive the Intro class and go straight into Organic Chem.

I have just been informed that I can CLEP out of Intro to Chemistry as long as I score a 55 or greater. I have not had Chemistry since my high school days (over 15 years ago). Has anyone taken the CLEP for Intro to Chem with success? If so, what is a good method to use to prepare for the CLEP exam? Any information that is provided will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

For the summer, I have registered for an online Lifespan Psychology class, in order to meet my nursing school pre-reqs. I feel that this should not be a difficult class to take online. I have to have an 'A' in this class. Two people have said that this will be difficult because this is an online class. I am a very disciplined person and I have a lot of experience with doing research and with writing papers. Has anyone taken this class online? If so, what was your experience.

I am in need of some advice from anyone enrolled in a second bachelor degree program. I was just accepted into such a program and I was just informed that I only need 3 pre-reqs in order to get into the nursing program at the school that I am planning to attend. The 3 courses are as follow: 1.) A&P, 2.) Prin of Organic & Bio CHM, and 3.) Lifespan PSY.

The advisor told me that I stand a good chance of getting into the nursing program if I can get these classes in for the winter '07 semester. I do work full-time, but my job is not demanding at all (I am busy only during the first week or so of the month). I would like to get some feedback from people who have been able to handle such a load while working full-time. By the way, I do have a 10 year old, but I also have a very supportive husband. Thanks.
