  4. Pain management in Post-CABG patients

    We use Diprovan while intubated. When CABG pts are extubated we use Morphine q 2 hrs while in the unit. We usually give Toradol when we reverse, if the patient doesn't have a hx of ulcers.
  5. PAWP readings

    I'm new to the CCU where I work and our hospital policy is to wedge q 1 hr on fresh hearts and if meds are titrated or new cardiac meds are added then go to q 2 hrs. and prn.
