Hi all, I posted this before but I'm not getting replies so I'm trying again.

Can anyone clue me in as to what the hourly pay is for RN/BSNs in metro Detroit now?

I just got out of the military and have NO idea what to negotiate for if I get hired at a community hospital I just interviewed at. It's for a per diem position that I have 3 years experience in, 5.5 years total RN experience.

Any help would be much appreciated!

    In Ois

Yeah, talk to a recruiter soon because they will pay for your nursing school. There are different programs, there's the Nurse Candidate program, which pays for school, and then the Nurse Corps, which you can join after you graduate and get your RN.

hello, i was hoping somebody could answer a question for me. my friend and i are graduating nursing school soon and i'm definitely going into the navy nurse corps, or at least trying to, im waiting for my packet to come back from review. (yay!!! =D ) my friend is thinking about joining too but he has had to take anti depressants in the past and we were wondering if that would exclude him from military service. also he was afraid if he got in they would kick him out if he had to go back on them. thanks!

Hello! I'm a new member to this site, and I was hoping to hear about what it's like as a Navy nurse. I'm graduating nursing school this December, getting married in May (my fiance is in the Navy too), and if I'm accepted I should be going to OIS in August of 2007. Thanks in advance!
