I also went to school while raising children and I think it helped in that you really need to focus. You definitely learn the master the art of time management which also helps once your nursing.
I did Suzanne's plan and passed the first time. I highly recommend it. I can't give details but it gives you great guidelines and really helps you structure your studying. I really encourage you do it.
