   One more question/statement. In my facility we are only told to use barrier isolation with patients that have MRSA in their sputum. I feel we should have to wear masks. Anyone else have experience with this?

   I am one of those nurses that "caught" MRSA. I always use univeral precautions with non-isolated patients and use barrier precautions for isolated patients. Somehow, though, I wound up with a boil/abcess on my flank (of all places??) that cultured...
