   Where i work, the protocol is patients who are going for op are provided with paper underwear .This is quite easy to tear off if need be.

   It depends, if its trauma ortho then it would be quite busy because you have admissions all the time .If its elective you may have some quiet nights but then again you might be busy monitoring obs if you have several post ops.

   We use Morphine Pcas...in recovery room they give a loading dose of 5to10 mg of morphine and thereafter the patient can use the pca button and dose themselves at 1mg per 5 minutes.We also give paracetamol with pcas.Generally we take down the Pca's se...
