   I did the LPN. I have heard that the RN program at Mt Hood is great, I met a few of their instructors and they seemed like they were passionate about nursing and teaching their students.

   My theory is it is for two reasons: 1. Mt Hood requires a lot of extra prereq's- these will take at least 6-9 months to finish unless you already have your A&P sequence, math, writing all done, and they added an additional reading class this year...

   As far as I know, that situation hasn't happened in the history of the program. Each year fewer and fewer students have applied, but this is the first year that they had less than 24 applicants. I'm not sure what their plan will be.

   Anywhere between 2-6 weeks. Some of my cohort didn't get their acceptance letter until late February.
