I have been reading these comments and to those who make silly comments like I never take vacation in the summer is just plain silly.

If you give your time in advance you should be able to take a vacation when you want this is not the army there was no contract signed when you become a nurse implying you are never allowed to take vacation or make significant plans during the summer.
There is no other profession that would tolerate this foolishness.
And for your work not to honor something as important as a wedding with plenty of time in advance to make alternate arrangements is ridiculous.

And what if one decides to quit wont they have to get a replacement. Give me a break.

Let him just apply as an experienced nurse there is no advantage to new grad programs.
The back biting and bad preceptors you are exposed to as a new grad nurse can be horrible.
Your husband is a prime example of how they abused his status as new grad talk about old eating the young.
If I was him I would not leave the snf out right definitely looking into prn or float pool test the waters of the hospital and if he likes it he can transfer to full time.

Im sorry you have had to take the exam so many times. But at this point I would focus on content since you have done so many questions. Once you have mastered the content then I would do questions. When you do the question and have chosen the right answer. Write in detail why the other options were wrong and in which situation if at all the other option would be true. Once you understand the content it should help you a lot.

in my humble opinion I would suggest getting a good Nclex book and just reading leisurely and doing practice nclex question i know its early in the game but it wont hurt and it will also get you prepared to answering nclex style questions.
