   I don't know of any level 2 nicu in the area. I just started at Emory. I'm coming from a med surg background and am in a 3 month orientation. You should apply, I think you'd get the three month training

   I'm 24 and made the switch from a stroke unit to the NICU a month ago. A lot less physically demanding than having 6 patients a night for a year on an understaffed unit.

   I'm not sure, but most students weren't originally from emory. Prerequisites are fine to get at other schools. I got some of mine from a community college

   I went to emory, and was in the bsn program there. There were a lot of students in the program who didn't start their undergrad at emory.

    I just got my offer letter, I start at the end of this month though. When you get your offer letter, you just email the nurse recruiter to let her know that you accept the offer.
