    Hi, I don't know your location, but I know in Ontario, Canada you can't be a paramedic unless you take the 2 year college course, even if you are an RN. I checked into it. It's unfortunate. Hope this helps, Tanya:o

    mito, Don't quote me on this, but what I have heard is that a lot of male nurses enjoy the excitement of the ER and ICU (especially if they are "trauma junkies"!) Hope this helps
