that would of made me mad if the cop just came out with are you a crack head. why did he pull you over in the first place it seems like some cops think that they can over step there authority because they have a badge when really there just like you and me when they dont have the badge on. but i think filing a complant to the police station is a good idea. even the persion that said ask an attorney for advice is a good idea too. sorry this happend to you.
I am so sorry to hear that this happened to you. What a terrible experience. (((((((((hugs)))))))) I really really think you need to report this guy as this behaviour is totally unacceptable and he shouldn't be allowed to get away it. I appreciate that this is difficult for you due to you r previous expereinces but you to take a stand and report this a-hole!
I would think that your instructor would surely see your mistake and allow you to fix that boo boo. If he does not, and your grade suffers, then you should appeal through the chain of command in your school. In the final end, all they can do is to deny your appeal, but you possibly could get it rectified by using the school's grievance body. Good luck.
hello and good mooring everyone i hope everybody has a great day.
I agree with Chatsdale. I have no respect for anyone who puts this great country down!
I have to say this. Many of these things are completely inappropriate tasks for an MA. Phone triage, patient education and presricption approval? ( I am assuming that you mean you ASSIST with EKG's, stress testing, suturing etc... at least I HOPE that is what you mean) It is not a reflection on you personally, but an MA education does not supply the education and knowledge base to perform these tasks competently. Now perhaps what you meant was the basic hand out brocheures, read what the provider wrote in the discharge summary, and make phone appointments. Again this is NOT meant to bash or slam but...I have taken the MA pharmacology class...there is no way they are qualified to approve presciptions (unless this means something far different than what I am imagining), phone advice alone is a HUGE liability, sigh... An MA can be a valuable coworker in an office setting, but you can't take someone who only takes very basic level classes for 6 months to a year and have them effectively triage and educate the public about medical issues.
all the medical assistants ive ever known were certified. Huge red flag when she said the words "this practice doesn't care if you are certified"-eek get out of there!
Think dad must have failed more than ethics class! IQ test comes to mind...
hey everyone how was everybidys day today i would of been on this mooring but they where doing the upgrades and shut down the site for a little while.
i hope it works out for you
I have a Olympus digital voice recorder and it has separate files in it so you can record different lectures in it but the only downside i have is that i have trouble deleting the old files off of there that i had from a past semester. but i love using my tape recorder especially if the teacher is a fast talker and you can't write the notes down as fast.
sounds like my A&P 2 teacher she always used power point slides and she barly oppend the book and the book was supposed to come with a workbook but the teacher never told the school that it was needed so the teacher made all these copys. thats a good point you made stpauligril in your posting. hang in there I am julia good luck.
wow these are some great ideas and i rember the saying from A&P that real nice RN said. im in a medical assistant program at bryant stratton college and il be getting my assocates degree but they never had a lab for A&P 1 and 2 is this normal?
i have a blue sethoscope
hopefully there will be in depth investigation that will happen. i thought i heard on the TV that this wasn't the first time this happened.
