Meeting AHPRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines

Published

hello! can i ask something about the 457? do we need to submit a valid, current IELTS? mine will be expired by the time i look for a 457 sponsor

U can call the customer service hotline of the embassy and inquire! Thats what i did while applying for my 456 visa. No need to fret, u will talk to filipinos on the line.

Good day Nurses!

I have an upcoming interview next week with IHNA Perth Campus. Is there any pointers to review that you could share to me ? Please guys :( its my second time to have an interview however my first interview in Melbourne didn't work. :'(

Thank you

hi kaye.. No idea about 457.. I am currently processing my 456. Maybe you can go on this thread:

in 456 is it really required to submit the valid ielts?

silverdragon im not yet done with my ielts and from what i've read it's one of the requirements of aphra.i'm afraid to take ielts exam because just in case i pass the exam but my hospital experience is still not enough i think my results would still be useless :( and i also need an agency i think because im really not good in processing papers.so any suggestions? Please :)

Can i ask? Has anybody here knows that in 457 visa, we have to submit a valid, current ielts result, assuming that we have already our rn license?

Hi guys, I'm a bit confused about the evidence of funds for the 456 visa application. HELP?!?!

The website says they accept "bank statements, letter from financial institution concerning your financial position."

Is the latter the same as the bank certificate? If i get it right the bank statements detail daily transactions while the bank certificate states the actual amount you have.

If I'm going for a bridging program, how much do they usually require? Does the amount have to be liquid at the time of visa application, or are they more concerned about the financial history, like if there is regular cashflow in the account?

What if we're planning to settle the school tuition fee on an installment basis?

If someone else is sponsoring me, can I just show this person's bank account statements, or is there an additional document (e.g. affidavit?) that I need to prepare?

Please post any questions regarding immigration requirements in the thread specific for this in the Immigration forum

Hi I read the previous thread and I have the same problem as you did. The embassy asked for my ielts results but I have a 6.5 in writing. Can I ask what happened? Did you take the IELTS again? Did you submit the results even if you did not have a 7 on all categories? How long did it take for you to get your visa? Thank you! :)

for the embassy, yes I submitted the one with the 6.5 result and I got my visa :)

to all nurse who are, who will and had taken their bp in ihna perth, do we need to have the mrsa clearance before leaving the country? or do we need to do that in australia? please. your response is badly needed. thanks.

I did the MRSA clearance before I left the Phils.. but then we had to repeat the test here again... so i guess its okay if you do it here... :)

Thank you so much for the replies. Appreciate it a lot. At this point I'm waiting for feedback from the applications I have sent. Getting a bit anxious with the waiting.

On a different note, it is good to hear from nurses like you who have come back to share a bit of what has happened since they first posted in this forum. :) :)

Just paying it forward :) I wanted to wait until I get my registration and a job before I summarize my experience lol

tnx so much. but will they ask you if you had mrsa clearance in the philippines? or did they just require you to have another one there?
