Meeting AHPRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines

anybody for IHNA perth this august 27 2012??

Hey man. Yeah you can appeal for an extension. Just as long as your reason is valid for consideration. In the meantime, i'm looking for schools that offer an earlier intake. If i'm not able to find an early one then I guess i'd ask for an extension. Um yeah, they're a bit off.

Hi everyone.AHPRA has already replied to my inquiry and this email clarifies everything:Dear Mr *********** As per correspondence sent to you dated the 3rd of August 2012 (attached), it does state that in order to be eligible you must successfully complete a bridging program with 12 months of the date of the letter. It also clearly states that no extensions will be given. Please be advised that on the 19th of September 2011 changes were made to the board approved English language standard, in line with this correspondence regarding bridging programs was changed to reflect that no extensions would be given as applicants no longer had to meet the standard after they completed a bridging program and therefore no extra time would be needed. I am unsure as to why the course co-ordinator at La Trobe has been given the wrong information by a registration officer but this will be addressed. As per your bridging letter you have until the 3rd of August 2012 to complete a board approved initial registration program for overseas nurses. Any further questions please contact your registration officer **************** Please do not respond to this email as the account is not monitored. If you have any further questions, please call AHPRA on 1300 419 495. Alternatively, please follow the web enquiry link below. Kind Regards *******************Senior Registration OfficerWith this, we all have to get into the program three months before our AHPRA letter expires the latest. So as much as possible, when you receive your AHPRA letter, better start looking for a school the soonest as to avoid the hassle.
youe loe expired already// :( have you applied for a new one?
as far as i know, they are already have been reaccredited. so, no worries. and i asked about that in the day i was given a slot for october intake. it was actually moved to september 24 but since they got their reaccreditation they moved it back to october 8. 

Yes, Annelle is right, IHNA has already renewed its accreditation. Even you can find its BP schedule for 2013.

IHNA just e-mailed me.. I am for this august 27 2012 bridging program. :) which means that my eligibility would still be valid by the time the BP ends!!!! praise God for this blessing :)

to those who are still looking for schools, try IHNA they are very accommodating :)[/quote

Oh no no! My letter's expiring next year, August 3, 2013. :)

Thanks for the info annelle. I have been trying to convince my agency that IHNA's October intake is still sanctioned by ANMAC. Do you have any document or web link that proves IHNA's October intake applicants won't have any issues registering with AHPRA after completion of BP course?

Hi everyone i want to ask if i should submit my NSO certified true copy to APHRA, and if i need to have my application to APHRA notarized as well. Thanks, Im learning a lot from this site. Im about to submit my application and supporting documents to APHRA on Tuesday perhaps.

Can any of you please help me with collecting all the requirements for getting a letter of eligibility from AHPRA, Im trying to read as many threads from this site but I cant find a COMPLETE set of requirements. Such as TORs, course descriptions, ielts of 7 and all...

I also looked into Ahprahs website but i cant understand the specifics on what documents i should send to their office. My parents dont want me to get an agency because of the risks that's why Im alone in fixing my papers and i really need your help! :)

Could any of you PLEASE post on this wall or PM me a complete list of requirements for AHPRA, PLEASE :) GOD BLESS! :)

Check the AGOS-40 form from AHPRA's website. The documentary requirements to meet each standard are mentioned in the form. :)
