The best thing is to wait. You will hear from them at some point. I guess if you don't hear from them for about 3 months, just enquire. But just be informed that processing time could take up to months and months. I waited for about 7 months.

Also, it's registration renewal period for RNs here. So expect a delay.

@maine1987 What do you mean by extension lettef? Is AAHPRA going to deny the application automatically if a decision has not been made after 90 days of lodgement?

@maine1987 Well I received one just this morning but it was an email incorrectly sent to me. Received an apology from the case officer after I notified her about it. I was excited though, cause I thought it was for me How does that extension work, by the way? Why will an applicant receive such?

No, because if the 90 days lapsed they will send again another extension letter to prevent your application to be refused without its full assessment.

read the post of om'sarah. she received a second letter of extension cause the first 90 days lapsed. This will prevent your application for being refused without full assessment because i asked my CO A about it yesterday.

when did you lodge your application maam?

Mailed application 19 February, Ahpra (Mel) received my application Feb 21 2014, emailed me march 21 2014 of lacking documents and additional docs (IQNM), completed lacking docs April 12 2014. Received an email May 20 2014 that my documents are already in Sydney office for IQNM and board decision, received an email today June 24 2014 regarding the extension.

really? wow! I passed my app last december in melbourne. I am sorry but it kind of sounds unfair. But anyways, been waiting for 6 months already. God bless us all.:)

Good for you om'sarah. In my case I have to quit my job there to get all my needed papers so I went for an exit and currently unemployed. Please let me know if you got your letter of eligibility. God bless you:)
