Hey Everyone-
I am SOOO overwhelmed with my Medical Terminology class. Is anyone else taking it? It feels like I'm memorizing a WHOLE new language. Does anyone have any tricks besides stacks and stacks of flash cards?

I have a lot of tricks for remembering certain terms, but I'm not sure what you're studying. What are some of the terms you're having trouble with? I may be able to help.
If you can master your medical terminology, everything else you study will come much easier (like anatomy, pathophysiology, etc).
Good luck :)

The CD is very helpful. It has study and assesment modes, lots of games including millionaire. I love to play game.

try not to memorize but to understand those.. i hope this could help you.
yeah, i have tons of little tricks but it just seems overwhelming. some of them i just can't get straight! The CD in my book (Medical Terminology for Health Professions) is kind of helpful but the instructor of my class takes a lot out of an A&P book that we don't have.
I am talking about that CD which is located back pocket of the book.MIne is called companion CD. I also got other four audio CDs but those helps to pronounce the words only.
Why don't you all student talk with that instructor? He can't do that. It's not fair.
