A radiologist in the U.S.A. is a physician.

Here, you would be a radiology and/or ultrasound technologist or technician.

Here, in my area of south USA, entry salaries range $25,000 - $34,000.

On the west coast, California average is $45,000 - $52,000

Here is a breakdown in specific cities in the US:

Hope this helps.

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

I also think the question would be Would it be enough for a work visa?

No i wont have technician diploma, its medical radiologist, and i can do a radiology therapy too,i heard a lot of different infos and i think salary is higher as i heard

Here radiology therapy is divided into three main categories. Radiation technologist that does X-rays (also CT and MRI with additional training), Nuclear medicine, and Ultrasound. Ultrasound used to be a seperate Masters program, but as I understand it now it is additional training that you get once you are a rad tech. Nuclear medicine can be done either seperately or as follow on training to radiation technology. Radiation therapy is all done by Radiology technologists with additional therapy. To get a licesne or job you will have to be certified by one of a number organizations (usually AART). To work in the US you would have to get a work permit (very difficult) and certification. I have no idea if a radiation technologist that trained overseas can be certified in the US. Here is a web page that describes the job. See if this is what you are talking about:

I will note that locally U/S tech make $40-50 per hour.

Well its something like that.As i said we have 3 years here and than u get bachelor for working on diagnostic, rentgen and title medical radiologist. But than u can go additional year for magnetic resonance or ultrasound, than u get master,so whats closest title in usa for that of those u showed me on this link?

The programs that I am aware of you go two years and you get certificatiokn as rad tech as well as an associates or bachelors degree. You get additional training in MR, CT, nuc med, or U/S. That doesnt give you another degree just a certficate. S

Your job sounds like a rad tech with U/S certification but thats just a guess. This is the problem with trying to fit foreign medical practitioners in the US system. What you do may be very different from what is done here with the same training. For example in Japan, virtually all the ultrlasound is done by the physicians. There are not technicians to do this role.

I would put that salary at somewhere above $70k depending on what part of the country. I have no idea if someone that was not trained here can work here though.
