I didn't see a topic for this cohort yet but the applications opened today, maybe we can keep in touch about any progress here!

Hey I just noticed this reply, I wanted to tell you if you go on the "Medical City Healthcare - Nurse Internship/Graduate Nurses" page on facebook, there's a recent post from a recruiter about the New Grad Bash, if you couldn't get a reply or whatever, she has instructions for how to contact her to sign up for it. (I don't think I'm allowed to link to things but it's easy to find)
Just a tip for any of you that didn't get a reply for the bash!

Oh, no, I guess I phrased it weirdly, it's my only interview from Med City

I wonder if not all areas and managers are available to interview since this is just the 15 min interviews for the GN bash and not the full interviews for the nurse residency positions? I don't think that means that you won't have a chance at the area of your choosing but I could be wrong!

It's just a quick interview for the employer to get to know you and see if they would like to pursue you further to have a longer interview for the position. Congrats and good luck on your interview!
So I got an email about the phone interviews they are conducting today, with more info on the residency. Does Medical City really only pay $1,000/bi-weekly?? That is extremely low (works out to $13/hr). They say it's because of the "value" of the program, but all other locals hospitals pay $26-28/hr for new grads even in the residency?
