med surg to HH

I have worked nites on a med surg floor for over a year. I know night shift and med surg is not where I see myself 5yrs from now. I am already 45yrs old and I am looking for my niche. I have been offered a HH peds part time job at Bayada. They will train me on peds cases and they do not have a min amount of shifts per week. THey said I could even do 2 shifts a month if I want. I work 3nite a week which includes everyother weekend. I have 2 schoolaged kids. I hope to try this for a few months and see if I like it. They said I can pick up shifts whenever one is available. THe hosp I work for is 45min from home the HH is in my area.

Any insights or advise?
