I feel for you.
Med surg was the bulk of my curriculum.
It is impossible to memorize everything. Review things like S/S and basic nursing interventions always keeping the nursing process in mind.
Youll get through it most of my classmates struggled.

Med Surg is a broad subject. What was specifically covered on this final?

If your instructor is testing you NCLEX style, then make sure you know your nursing interventions.

Review the areas you were weak for as a retest you have an idea what type of questions are covered on the finals. If your school has tutors now would be a good time to use them. Good Luck.

med surg for me is difficult too. i find that if i can ask myself alot of "what if's" ,meaning that if i know that a patient has this disease process goin on then what test will be done, what signs and symptoms am i looking for and what interventions am i goin to do to help this patient. and i always review the meds that are used in treating the diagnosis. that seems to help me get through the tests that we get. lots of luck!!!
