Does anyone work med psych? I really enjoy this branch of nursing, but I don’t know of a lot of nurses who work med psych.

One of my jobs is in Geri-Psych, I am not sure if I would consider that med psych but there is a lot of medical components to it because of their age.

I work about 50% of my shifts in med-psych.

I used to work inpt psych. Now work Med-surg....and about half of our pts have psych issues, any given shift I might have 4 out of 5 of my pts with psych issues. It’s unofficial med-psych! ?
