Hey ! I know im super early to make this thread for the MDE program at Columbia for the 2021 start year ? but I was wondering if there are any future nurses out there as eager as me to get started !!

Thanks for the reply! Yeah, I kept going back and forth between wanting to include everything and not wanting the addendum to be too long. I ended up just throwing everything in there. I'm going to try my best to condense it though. 

I had the same thought. I will definitely try to condense it to 2 without having to cut out crucial elements. Thanks for the affirmation!

hi! yes I did that exactly I had 6 hobbies and like one or two sentences elaborating on each one!

Hi,

Just curious how long everyone's resumes are. Mine is 2 pages RN and I'm deciding if I should put short descriptions of each hobby. Also for travel, did y'all include places you just went for fun as well? Thanks everyone! IT'S THE FINAL STRETCH! WE GOT THIS!!

Mine is 2.5 pages. I think you should put a short description of each hobby so admissions can get a better idea of them. Thats what I did. I did not have much travel experience but the places I did go to I put a brief description and made it seem like it was a learning experience as well.

You upload it on the academic section of the application. Where you listed the schools, click edit and at the bottom it gives you the option to upload the transcripts.

Hey guys! I just submitted mine and I thought it would take some stress off, but now I'm MORE stressed because it's the waiting game now ? cheers to anxiety until the end of January

Can someone give an example of how they did their travel section and listed their hobbies? 
 

I just listed my travel and hobbies because I thought it’s self explanatory.

I did it this way, and just made a list. I also thought it was self-explanatory, but now I'm second guessing myself.

Of course ! so these are two of them which have the most detail that I feel should help you all out. Also I don't think there is a specific format, I guess it is just up to us on how we decide to list them.

Okay thank you so much! From the sound of it, I thought you guys had a whole page dedicated to hobbies and interests

Haha oh no, I only listed about five of them and called it a day ?‍♀️ the travel section since I did not really have much to put, I listed the city and country in a bullet point just like those ^ and put a brief description of what I did and that's it.

I can't even imagine the anxiety for the next few months ? I wish we had more time I feel like it wasn't enough LOL
