Thank you! I emailed them and I was told:

"Would you be able to confirm when your last day of Spring 2021 courses will end?"

Do you know if there's a specific document I should be looking for? What can I do to confirm?

I’m not sure. Maybe an academic advisor can give you a specific document. You may have just have to contact someone in your school thats in charge of academics and let them know what’s going on so someone can just put together a document for you.

Just finished the timed writing! It wasn’t as bad as I thought...phew.

Yeah it wasn’t too bad ! I just messed up a tad bit by trying to add more details by going back Into the paragraph but im not stressing it. I just have the video interview left to do and one more LOR. But im not submitting my application until the due date because im so iffy about my personal statement ??‍♀️

Hi, everyone! First-time poster, long-time stalker--I've probably been following the past 3 years of Columbia MDE groups/threads. I was going to wait another year to apply to nursing school but I figured why not try applying to my dream school this year and see where it takes me!

I just recently started my application (yes, I'm internally screaming at the short amount of time left until the deadline), and it's been a whirlwind trying to get everything together. Everyone's stats are amazing while mine are far less than ideal, so I'm just crossing my fingers at this point.

These questions may have already been answered but: Is there a page limit to the addendum? And, is the resume the traditional one-page long format or should it be more like a CV where we include most, if not all, things we've done?

Hello and welcome! And yes it doesn’t hurt to apply this round. I feel kind of the same about my stats, however, columbia does know everyone is different and unique in their own way whether we have the experience or not. So keep your head up. And for the resume, they didn’t talk too much about it. But all I know is that on the resume it should show our experience whether its a job or volunteer experience, interests, and hobbies. Also any type of award we may have received. So basically, throw everything in the resume LOL.

Hi everyone happy weekend, this is kind of silly but... what did y'all wear for the video essay?

Im gonna do it soon, but I think I might just wear my scrub top. If not, maybe like a blazer or something ??‍♀️

For those who have done the timed writing, is it a completely random topic or is it a topic related to healthcare?

hi Meghan!

Not a silly question at all. I recommend wearing something business-casual. Columbia doesn't do interviews, our video essays are the closest we get to being interviewed so dress as you would for an interview.

It’s a completely random topic. Mine was basically about making the world a better place and what not.

Does anyone know what the format for the video essay is? Are they just asking us the question that is on the website or more?
