Hello All Homestead Full time Generic Nursing Students,
I started this thread to hopefully start an information forum for the Homestead Campus students. Also, to start chatting and getting to know each other before the start of class. Introductions, schedule comparison, changes, and new information to know. Just add yourself to the list and it will be great thanks.

Hi Laz, how are you?
I just want to say,”Congratulation” in getting accepted! I also have been accepted, and I’m going to be attending that campus as well. So, if you are you going to be at that campus any time soon, please let me know because I have free time next week, and I would like to get familiar with the campus and my fellow class mates.
Hi NeverGVUP I was just thinking that I should go by to get a feel for the Homestead Campus since I've never been there. I currently work at Kendall campus and it would be great to meet someone from the same program (we may even have same classes) to familiarize ourselves with the Campus. I think most of our classes our going to be in Buiding G. Anyways, Monday, Thursday and Fridays after 3pm are good for me. Also, I think I read in another thread about a Starbucks close to there posted by you I think that would be awesome if there was. Any how let me know about the dates. Super Excited!

hello! who here is taking clinicals at st. anne's hospital?
if i get all of my errands done on monday, i might be able to hang out at the campus for a while. and, i also think that it would be nice for all of us to meet at starbucks, while i get my daily coffee fix.lol.
i just came back from vacation, so i need to get back in the rhythm of studying in one place for countless amounts of hours . see you all there !
"Thanks" Lazgon for starting this thread! I'll try my best to meet you Monday. I probably would be able to make it ( I just have to turn- in the last of my paperwork at Medical before heading up there).
ps, I am super excited as well:yeah:
Many of us would be attending the Perdue Hospital. I wonder, do you think they would allow you to switch?
Happy Sunday everybody! I would think that this upcoming semester should not be too difficult (I was skimming through our F of N book, and it seemed pretty straight forward). If the other books/ materials that we are required to learn are as straight forward as the F of N book, we should be fine for the upcoming semester.
In any case, I’m ready for anything! And, regardless of how easy or difficult the semester would be, my family has been forewarned that spending a Sunday w/ me might be considered a luxury during the next sixteen months.
So let’s enjoy theses next three Sundays, it might be our last free ones! LOL

Hi classmates: I will be attending the homestead campus as well. I'm having mixed feelings about starting school. I'm exited but I'm scared too, I keep reading about how hard it is , and to forget about getting A. I have worked so hard for my gpa, I guess you can never have it all lol
Hello my fellow Homesteadanians,
I don't know if I should call you that but oh well, I am here and not to be downer but I just don't like the campus. If you come into building A which I think is the main entrance then walk through to the outside then buiding G is right in front and I believe all our classes will be there. Again, I don't like the campus it looks like an Elementary School to me. I won't let that take away from my excitment. We are starting Nursing School! Yayyy!
Are you going to be working durring that time?
