Mayo Clinic Nurse Residency AZ July 2022

Hey everyone! I am making this thread for people who are interested in applying for the nurse residency program at Mayo in Arizona! I haven't seen anyone make one yet for the July 2022 cohort so if you're interested in applying, this thread is for you! Hopefully we can keep each other updated on the process ?

Did any of your status change after you interviewed?

I just checked and my status and it says interview! I also don't have mine until this week

Yes, they did! They also told me they are hiring <60 new grad RNs for the Summer Cohort. They told me the process could take between 2-4 weeks as they are in the final stages of interview completion.

They also told me they would take about 60 new grads and could take up to 4 wks to hear back - but I interviewed during their first week of interviews (about 2 wks ago) so wait time should hopefully be shorter by now!! Still haven’t heard anything, but trying to stay as optimistic as possible though definitely anxious! please keep us updated if any of you hear anything back. ?

Also, is anyone applying to other hospitals in the meantime?

Little update on the next step in case not everyone knows- Interviews will be done by the end of next week. The recruiter will make her selections and assign units once done with interviews and send that over to HR. Then HR makes the phone calls to those who they wish to extend an offer. After offers have been accepted (or declined) then emails for those who do not receive an offer go through the portal. She said she hopes this is all done by the end of the second week in May!

So I gotta question, when you got interviewed, how many patient scenerios did they ask you? Cuz I was only asked 2?

did anyone else apply for another place just in case?

It’s Monday. I have not been contacted but I took all spam phone calls that started with 480/602 area code
