Hey, everyone. I know it's pretty early, but I have had my eye on the Mayo Clinic Nurse Residency program in Arizona for a while. I will be graduating in December and plan on applying to their February 2022 cohort. I have seen other threads from previous cohorts that keep up with the process, information, and support each other along the way.
If you are interested in applying to this program, this thread is for you!
About me: I am from out of state, which is why I am pretty anxious to hear more information on the program. I would love to do critical care. I have not seen the residency program posted on the job board yet, so hopefully, we can keep each other updated.
Good luck to all of you!

Good luck on your interview! I asked and they said this was the last step ?

Around half an hour for me, including me asking questions at the end. It was mostly prioritization questions and at the end they ask you the units you are interested in. Good luck ?

Did they ask behavior questions? They asked what units you are interested in even though you interviewed with the unit manager?

So I am interested in PCU or PACU, and they said that I would be starting on Medsurg, and then transition to the unit that I want to be in. Do you guys know any details about that?
It sounds like your interview went well! Congratulations. I have mine at 11 tomorrow and I am so nervous! I am unsure to be honest. I know I am interviewing with the ICU. I will let you know if I find anything else out tomorrow.
Mid December is so far away! when does everyone graduate? I finish my program December 8.
Hey guys! I just finished with my zoom video interview. I think it went well, some of the questions for the unit I was interviewing on were tough but it really got me into the critical thinking mindset. They said this is the last part of the interview process and they will be finishing up interviews and make decisions the first week of December and will send out offers before Christmas! It would be the BEST Christmas present to hear that we were accepted into the program!
I do have a question though, I was looking at my job portal and it hasn’t moved From the “application under review” to “interview” yet! Has anyone else’s changed since they have been contacted? ?

I wouldn't worry about the portal, in my experience it gets updated slowly ?. I got into their externship program this Summer and my status still showed "interview" weeks after I was done with the process. I was either about to work in the unit or was already in the unit before it switched to 'offer accepted'.
