Hello there, I have masters in nursing ( pediatrics) from india n moving to toronto this summer with ma family. I have no idea what to do, couldn't get hold of anybody who has masters already. I want to go for NP exam, so for that do i have to work as Rn first in ontario and then apply or can i just go for it. pls feel free to pass on ur opinion.

Starting point would be the province college and meet their requirements for IEN and pass CRNE. I doubt that you will be able to got for NP exam without it and they probably would want some experience in Canadian nursing.

You can submit your application from anywhere. The CNO website has complete instructions on what and how you need to do.
Please keep this topic relating to the NP exam in Ontario and not about immigration or the thread will have to be moved to the International Forum.

You can start your process now, actually would be recommended that you start now as can take several months to go through the application process. As mentioned by Jan all information will be on the province college website
