Roxbury Community College Nursing 2017

U.S.A. Massachusetts

Hello, I am new posting here; however, I wanted to know if anyone applied for the Nursing Program at Roxbury Community College. My GPA is 3.58 with A in Ap1 and B+ in AP2, a B in Microbiology. I did well on my TEAS testing. Anyone else apply? If so, are you excited to hear back? Let me know!

What about those who got rejected? Wouldn't they receive a letter at all? I have yet to receive a letter at my address in Maine-and I am sure it doesn't take that long. Also, were you accepted?

Got the letter today!!!

I got in you guys!!!! I just got my letter today!!!!! I'm beyond excited!! Who else is attending?!

I got in!!!!! Did you!?!

Me too! I got in!

I wonder who else got in, congrats!!!! I called this morning asking about who got in! It's amazing!

I was scared I wouldn't get in, that the odds were against me. So I saved my spot at Laboure College and had accepted my loans. I don't know how I would go about getting out of Laboure. What would happen to the loans I accepted? Would I be able to I undo that and send my FAFSa to Roxbury? Laboure is sooooo much more expensive. Insight?

The loans would be dropped because you didn't attend the college. You just got to let Laboure know that you will not be attending their Institution. If you do not attend-they will drop your loans and you can be picked up by a different school. You are not obliged to attend their school nor use their loans (because that's the school loans they give).

Even if they're given to me by the federal government?

Yeah, the FASFA usually is just an estimation of what you can receive the school ultimately gives you want is needed/wanted. You need to contact Laboure ASAP!

Okay, I'll go there tomorrow. Do you know what classes got transferred to RCC? My letter just told me I got accepted and what paperwork I have to send in and the days of orientation etc. Are you going there for sure? Congrats!

I am going there for sure! I'm 100 percent positive. I know all I have to take are clinicals. I've taken ALL the cores and prerequisites. Do you have an email to contact each other?!
