Hello-

I wanted to start a thread for applicants applying for 2018. I recently applied and I am anxiously waiting for a decision!

I started a facebook group for Manchester absn students in the fall. Would love to meet and speak about rooming options Log into Facebook | Facebook

Hello :) I was recently accepted into MCPHS' accelerated nursing program on the Boston campus. I was wondering if there is any facebook group or something to join so we could all connect and get to know each other? I will be moving to Boston from CT :) I look forward to meeting you all and congrats to everyone!

Hello! I was just recently accepted to the Boston campus and will be attending!

I'm sorry no one is replying to your question. My guess is they are anticipating last minute applications being sent on May 1st. After they have reviewed those last minute applications, if there is still space they'll give you a holla. If there are not seats remaining, they may send you an offer for spring 2019 session. But this is my guess.

I got the call I was accepted to Manchester! SO excited to start this fall :)

the review of school is very low good luck

I would like to know your thoughts on the school, specifically, what makes the school rating low? Thanks

Hi, just wanted to ask a question. How long did it take to get a call after you were waitlisted? I was waitlisted in late february and have yet to hear anything after submitting an additional essay. Any info would help. Thanks.

I don't want to disappoint you but if you look at the review of school. the passing rate of the school is very low. The school accepting a lot of students but the passing rate is very low.

I'm not totally sure what the point was of making this statement on this forum but by reading it most people will probably assume you're bitter about not being accepted just so you know.... Anyway, I'll add to your post. Yes, the Boston school's reputation isn't too great right now (from what I've heard, I think they're short staffed and students have had trouble getting clinical placements) but the Worcester and Manchester campuses are completely separate, even the pre requisite requirements are different. The latter two campuses have wonderful reputations, and they have high NCLEX rates. I have talked to many past/current students in Worcester and everyone I contacted has been happy with their experience and many of the alumni told me that they and many of their classmates received job offers prior to their graduation. Here's a direct quote from an article in the Boston Globe last year:

"MCPHS University offers several nursing degrees in Worcester and Manchester, but only the Boston accelerated bachelor of science in nursing degree was warned."

Hope this helps!!

I have been accepted to the Boston absn. I gave my deposit. How soon did you guys get your financial aid packet. I'm eager to get it so I can make financial arrangements.

Hi jdifranz,

I already check the rate of this school of nursing for NCLEX rates is low. So good luck I wish you the best. The rate of this school is %50 they pass. I dont want to disappoint people but thats the truth.
