CNA Falsely Accused

U.S.A. Massachusetts

I'm a CNA and have been for 10 years. Another CNA and I reported a coworker for verbal abuse. She was fired after an investigation and the state is attempting to pull her license. After a month and a half she told the administrator that I and this other CNA were also verbally abusing residents. I'm assuming this is when she found out the state was attempting to pull her license and is looking for revenge. Do we have any legal recourse against her.

you didn't mention what actions your job took following the claims the person made. Did they suspend you? Are you still working there? How about...Did you stop the verbal abuse when this person was putting it apon the resident?

I know that some people lie to get others in trouble, because of jealousy, and what not. But if you believe that you are not guilty of any wrongdoings why are you worried?

Unfortunately, people are falsely accused everyday. It would be easy to see just give me a lie detector test, to prove my innocence. But I have seen great coworkers falsely accused because of other's bad intentions.

I had a confused pt, complianed that a CNA abused him, and the story was far from the truth. That said, investigation was done. You know your coworkers, and like catz123 said, WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?
