Anyone applying to Simmons College Direct Entry MSN Program 2012?

Is there anyone out there applying to the direct entry MSN program at Simmons? I will be attending the program beginning this summer (2012). I went to Simmons for my undergrad, so I've been living in Boston for 6 years and am well-aquainted with the area. I currently live in Brighton (about a 15 minute drive from the campus). I would love to talk to anyone applying to the program!!!!

Does anyone know exactly when Simmons will send out their acceptance letters to the Direct Entry MSN program? They processed my app "late" so does anyone know when I should be receiving an answer? This wait has seriously been killing me.

Eromero05 - I received my acceptance by mail and assume my application was processed on time. Good Luck!

@eromero, my application was deemed "incomplete" because I needed to submit two more transcripts. I got them in on 3/14, and I just got my acceptance letter yesterday. So even if yours was "late" I'm sure you'll get your decision letter soon! They don't call or email, it's a letter.

Might I also add that for me it was a small envelope. I didn't really want to open it, immediately flashing back to my small MGH and Northeastern envelopes which left me feeling upset. But this time I was pleasantly surprised! Phew!@Amy, I'm going to take the Organic Chem in the summer cluster as well. We will get through it!

Should we make a facebook group or something? I tried to get one started, but because I had no one to invite, I wasn't able to. I will be taking the biochem at Simmons too.

I think I was able to get the group working on facebook. It's called "simmons direct entry MSN class of 2015"

Congrats to everyone that have been accepted! Unfortunately, I was deny entry into the program. I am a bit bum out since Simmons was my #1 choice, but I will be heading to MGH Institute in the Fall. Good luck in your program everyone! =)

Htieuster, MGH is a great school! It was actually my top choice over Simmons, but I'm on the wait list. I wish we could switch places!! I'm excited for Simmons but it starts a little too early for me, that's why I wanted to go to MGH. I feel bad only giving my work a month's notice.

Tilly, I can't seem to find the Facebook group. Is it a "page" or a "group" or something else? I'll keep looking...

I got my acceptance letter on Monday. Can't believe I got accepted. I live in CA and been accepted to two schools here but debating where to go. It would be nice to experience living in the East Coast away from what I know. Oh the choices in life...
