Hi guys,
I recently applied to Marymount for Spring 2014 and did not get accepted
My undergraduate GPA is a 2.8 and I've repeated several courses over. I've heard very good things about this program and would ultimately like to attend nursing school here. I hear they also give students who do not have a stellar undergrad GPA a second chance.
I was wondering if anyone who has been accepted in this program is willing to provide some insight as to what their grades and background looks like. Also, I'm currently in the process of taking the TEAS V - any tips on test taking would be wonderful.
Thanks in advance and congrats to those who have been accepted!

Hello everyone, I actually just got my acceptance letter today. I also did not have a stellar gpa. I graduated undergrad with a 2.3 gpa for a biology degree. BUT my nursing prereqs were As and Bs and i scored top 94% on my TEAS. I'm not sure if I will go to Marymount, school starts on January 12th and thats basically no notice for me to pack my things and move to VA. lol. Don't know if this will help anyone, but I hope it does! I was discouraged for a long time because of my gpa, but there are some schools that will ive you a chance!
Good luck with everything ladies.
