Here is our new thread ladies (Nikki, Andrea, Kristian, Marissa...and whoever else will be starting at MC this fall).

I am a few pages away from the chapter review for 19. Almost done!!!

I just checked the course files and NU105 and NU121 now have documents available under files. I think the stuff that Mansir posted is just for the 4pm class. The stuff posted my Alston appears to be for the 8am and 12n classes.

I'm taking Liam to day care again this morning and then taking Lucas to his first karate lesson. He is uneasy about it. I hope he gives it a fair shot and ends up liking it. I won a silent auction at his school last year for a month of classes.

I guess I better get to the store too and stock up on the necessities just in case. Be safe y'all!

Tina, I think the email from Prof. Mansir applied to all students, not just for the 4pm class. Isn't NU110Lect. only on the schd. for Monday? The mentor info was given @ registration and should be in your packet.

I guess it's better to expect a bad storm and prepare for it. I went to the store yesterday for grocery items and we have enough batteries/flashlights, toilet paper, etc. to last for days, wks, even months lol!

Nikki, wow, you've been really hitting the books! I'm trying to get to the ATI stuff today, it would really suck if I miss the opportunity cuz we lose power between this wknd and Monday.

I remember them saying we would have access to any professor's powerpoints. But I would go with whomever your instructor is. But when it doubt, you can just ask. I have Alston for 110. Yes, I believe that class is a Monday only class. 121 had the many options.

I don't think Monday would be too late to sign up for the mentor program. I think they would likely be very pleased to have more involved.

Yes, yesterday was a productive day for me. I was on a roll. I would definitely get your ATI stuff done today in case the power goes out. Good thinking Kristian.

Nikki, thanks for the update on the files. Ok, then depending on who our instructor is for NU110 Lect., we'll receive an email regarding any assignments.

Did you have to download any plug-ins for the ATI module or is a compatible operating system all we need?

Thanks....I found the info for the earlier Mon. Lecture....never got the mentor info...but I know someone a semester ahead of me so will just query her time and again:)...so much to do this weekend, hoping storm takes a big swerve

Just got back from running some unexpected errands. On the plus side, Dominic is tired and content to watch a movie on the couch while I tackle the last 3 chapters in Calculating...

I e-mailed all the documents we need to print to my mom since the printer at her work is 1,000 times faster than ours! I don't think I'm going to ask her to print out the powerpoints though. I can easily access them on my laptop and I'll probably just end up bringing my laptop to class and adding notes to it that way.

My voice recorder shipped last night, so maybe there's a tiny chance I could get it today!

I probably won't make it to Fentons today so I'll have to go do that and get my student ID on Monday before my first class starts at 2. I got my clinical info...a packet, something I have to sign, and a post-test (??).

Nikki, I would think the labcoat from Micro will be suffiicent, at the very least for the first day.

No it wasn't on MyMC. It was an e-mail sent from my clinical instructor, Mrs. Mirna Ostchega. She sent the documents as attachments, specifically for our clinical group at MGH on Wednesdays from 7am-5pm. Maybe your clinical instructors haven't e-mailed you guys yet? Hopefully you should get something by the end of the day.

printed most everything in case of power out (PEPCO even left a recorded message...not good :-()....ATI tonight, uniform tomorrow, shoes came in today (comfy)....finishing calculating book tomorrow/sunday (no computer necessary for that)..now off to my kids' schools' Open Houses....we all start school on Monday..eek! my Kindergartner is more nervous than me :-)

Tina, how many kids do you have? My oldest is starting 1st grade. I'm definitely more nervous than he is.

Krisitian, I too think the micro lab coat would be sufficient. I think I even recall them saying that at registration. I can't remember if I kept mine. Dang it.

I hope we get a clinical packet. I haven't seen anything. I've given DH so much stuff to print in the past two days and he hasn't done any of it yet. I hope he gets to it all before the end of the day.
