Bump.

I'm interested too! I applied for spring!

Specializes in ER / Critical Care.

Has anyone completed or in process of the online RN-BSN at Marshall University?

Marshall is on my "list" of possible schools and I'd love some insight :)

Thanks!

Anyone!?!? I can't find any reviews regarding this program... Don't know of I should take that as a good or bad sign :/

Please Message me if you feel uncomfortable posting your review/insight here :)

Thanks so much!

I am in my last semester of my RN to BSN through Marshall. I really love the school and the program but be warned a lot of the classes are gonna have to be done on site. If you do not have stats, speech, sociology, microbiology with a lab component, chemistry, and a couple of art classes you will have to take those. This program is very rigorous and requires that you do tons of clinicals in your community. I don't know where you but I live local which makes it easier for me to keep in touch with my professors. I say good luck because this is a great program with great professors and it's really reasonably priced.

Thank you!! I live in Texas, so on-site isn't an option for me. It was my understanding it was 100% online. I do already have the courses you listed except chemistry.... I was really hoping Marshall would be "the one" but with the on site requirements I'll cross it off my list unfortunately :(

All the nursing classes are online but the University limits the amount of credits you can transfer. I would check out Ohio University. They are online and cheaper plus classes are 5 weeks long.

Ohio university doesn't accept Texas residents. They only have 4-5 states that they enroll. :(

Hey mingorn, what do you mean by tons of clinical? How many hours?

I am starting RN to BSN track this fall 2016. How doable is it to take 28 credit hours in 2 semester 13/15 with full time job, single mom and 2 children 2 and 4?
