Malaysian Nurse Who Studied in US

Has 4 years experience. Specializes in Emergency Department.

0Hello everyone!

I am a Malaysian who has lived in the US for over 11 years and gone to a nursing school in Texas and graduating with my BSN. I have even sat for the NCLEX (licensing exam) and passed it. I am officially licensed in the State of Texas as of February 2nd of 2016.

I was working in Texas for 9 months before returning back to Malaysia. I am now in the process of apply for registration with the Nursing Board of Malaysia. I was told that there would be a 100 test question multiple choice as part of the registration process. My question is for anyone who has taken the test, if these test are more straight forward and more common sense in nature.

I ask this because the NCLEX questions tested a nurse based on HOW to answer rather than if they actually recalled any information. I'm sorry if this doesn't make sense but that's the best way to describe it. Also are there any books that could help prepare me for the type of questions they ask? Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.
