Just starting this to talk to others. I start in the march class, wondering if theres anyone else out there.

Hello. You got accepted to MCC 2017 nursing program? When did u find out? I was told by an advisor we would not find out until May 2017. They also said they would notify people by mail- did you receive a letter already? Oh my god I'm so worried now!!!

No im in this years program.... i just started this week. You will find out in april.

Oh ok... I was starting to panic lol thank you!! Did u get 88 on ur HESI??? What was ur GPA if u don't mind me asking. I got an 84 on the HESI and all A's in the prerequisites- I hope I get in... keeping my fingers crossed

I have no idea what my gpa was i applied a year ago, but you may have to retake hesi, just depends on who applied at the same time as you. You might even out but i would recommend retaking it. I got an 88 but had a lower gpa than you, however i was on the alternate list.

I think I will have to retake the HESI too. Did u receive a letter stating that u were an alternate the same time as everyone else? Hope ur classes are going good so far!! And congrats!!!!

Yes the ranking letters all go out at the same time, it will tell you wether or not you were accepted or on the alternate list. Rank 1-160 are accepted and 161-200 are on the alternate list. I was initially ranked 176 (16 spots away) and was notified that a spot opened up for me about a month before classes started. If you are accepted or on the alternate list you will have an orientation to attend sometime in the summer i believe.
