Hi Samanta. You need to know that you are not alone.
My case is the same, my diploma was validated in USA and I am elegible to take the NCLEX-RN.
It's not a simple test. Even the US educated nurses are afraid of taking this test. And also you will have more challenges because of the language of course. Even if you do speak English, you will always find a sentence that you cant understand.
My advices for you: buy some books that helps you to understand the NCLEX examination. Buy the Comprehensive Review for NCLEX-RN examination. Try to find a Welcome Back Center Close to you (they will help for free- giving advices about how to apply for Licensure, costs, papers, etc).... If there is any at your area, I think that you may reach them by e-mail.
I failed the first time that I took the test. I felt frustraded but I wont give up. You have to keep your hope too!
Wish you good luck! Hope you can achieve your goals.
thank you julia,i really appreciate you reply and give me advice.thank you:redbeathe

Hi I am also international nurse too and took NCLEX on 17th and cleared with 75 questions...I just want to say that NCLEX is not that hard it is a minimum competency test and also there is no need to bother about english language in this test..coz even though i have not done any anything like ielts or toefl i cleared this one,,so no need to worry about language...just buy some useful sources like kaplan online review, saunders, pda...good luck for your test....

Not everyone does well with not understanding the English exam. There is already documented proof on the NCSBN website that Foreign nurses do not do well in the exam and a lot has to do with not fully understanding the English language
