LVN-RN program after Concorde in Arlington, TX

Published

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has attended Concorde in Arlington, TX, and has been accepted into an LVN-RN program at any community college in Texas? I would get my LVN then apply ASAP for a bridge program, but I'm kind of skeptical on whether or not schools will accept me after obtaining my LVN from a trade school rather than a community college. I have taken all of my pre-requisites for the RN program, but I have been rejected twice. I still have 5 more schools to hear from, but I need to have a Plan B & C so that I don't go into a deep depression from taking all those classes and have yet to be accepted in an RN program. I know that Concorde is expensive and private, but I need to make something happen. I don't want to wait and apply again for Spring 2010. I'm ready to get it over with already and start working. Thank you in advance for any advice that you may have!!!

Desperately wanting to get into nursing school !!!
