I want to enroll in the LVN program but am lacking 2 pre-reqs. I have the others from a Health Information Management degree I have. I am already planning to quit my daytime job when I enroll in the 12 month program but would like to continue working while completing those 2 pre-reqs. The local school only has daytime classes for these. Can I complete these online?
Mathematics for Vocational Nursing (MATH 0120)
Vocational Nursing Concepts (VNSG 1222)
I have had my job for 12 years, so I'm a little reluctant to quit before the official program.
I chose LVN first so that I can start in the workplace quicker than plan to go for RN.
Thanks

no one here can give you the right answer as none of us know what school you're talking about and whether your program would allow it. why don't you call the school and ask? that's the only way you're going to be sure that you are doing the right thing and not wasting time and money.

Many schools have "their own" version of prereqs. It sure sounds like yours does.
No math classes were part of my my LVN/PN pre/co-reqs.
And the other class sounds unique to your school, as well.
As a PP suggested, try asking the school for options available through other schools.
As for me: I chose an LVN/PN school that provided the "prereqs" as part of the curriculum, so I guess they'd properly be termed "co-reqs".
