Every RN school is required to have at least a "30 unit option" to upgrade an LVN to RN. Every School. Some schools will have you take a bridge course, upon successful completion of which gives you credit for prior learning, and allows you to enter the 2nd year of school. You would then graduate as an ADN and not a "30 unit" RN. I'm unaware of any LVN-BSN programs. The Universities will do 30 unit but their BSN program would have to be done the traditional way. The only other option would be to go to a program that does LVN-ADN and then apply to the University and go ADN-BSN through a program the University might offer to allow RNs to upgrade to BSN without having to complete an entire RN program from scratch.
