Hey guys so I'm scheduled to retake my hesi exit exam in a couple of weeks. I need to score an 850, last time I took it I scored about 700. The question I have goes to those who have purchased the hesi comprehensive review for nclex-pn 4th edition. A friend recommended the book to pass the hesi so ive been reading over the book and taking notes. I just realized the book came with a scratch off code that i can access in my evolve account to be able to answer some practice questions. So my main question to any of those that have purchased this book, did you see any of those practice questions on the actual test? Thanks!

I have the book and took the hesi two days ago, I did not see many of those questions on there maybe 2. So I have to find another study plan and take the hesi again

The HESI PN review book is good for content review and the HESI Hints are important however; in terms of seeing similar questions that you see in practice questions on the exit exam is real slim. To be honest, those HESI practice questions help train your mind to get you thinking critically with those type of questions and it's also important to read the rationales and understand them as well. Test-taking strategies is also helpful I suggest reading up on that as well. Also use ADPIE and carefully read the questions because it would be an assessment that you would need to do or implementation. Also when it looks like a prioritizing question think ABC's then if it's Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs always know that Physiological comes first before anything.
I got a 657 the first go around and then the final attempt I got an 849. Extremely frustrating to be within one point of passing but what can I do right? I wish you all the best. Oh yeah, Breathe, Relax, and Believe that you have what it takes to pass. Good luck!
