Lurie Children's New Graduate Residency August 2025

Published

Hi guys!

I am a soon to be nursing school graduate who created this thread in hopes to connect with others who applied to Lurie.

Nope nothing. I think we still have time. My still under consideration is there

I received an interview offer from PICU on Wednesday! Good luck to everyone, I'm sure you'll hear soon!!

did anyone reach out to a recruiter to see how their app was progressing or would it be better to j wait and hope for an email? LOL I have no clue

I'm just hoping and waiting tbh. Im praying. I been checking

is anyone doing their PICU interview on March 19? I'm curious how many people got an interview.

Mine still says "under consideration," but one of my friends said that this year has been the most applications received so it is taking longer than expected

Just got update. I'm not selected. They emailed me. But the nicu team said they would keep my information on file for future use 😭😫

I'm doing mine on March 18th! I saw that they mentioned we could shadow a nurse following the interview - do you think that would be until shift change? I was planning on booking my flight home at 7pm that night, but wouldn't want to miss out on shadowing!

I believe only a few hours. Where are you flying in from?

Does anyone know the starting pay and night shift and weekend differential?

thinking back on my job interview I feel like I didn't get much behavioral questions like tell me about a time.... so IDK if thats different for each unit/interview and a good thing or a bad thing bc they definitely got to know me as a person and what I could bring to the unit but I feel like I didn't talk much about my work & clinical experience. we'll see! and does anyone know what the pay is before differentials im just curious hehe

@222.newgra

hey!! What type of questions did they ask you? And what do you mean know you as a person ! I have mine coming up and nervous !!
