Lunch bag suggestions?

Published

I'm taking A&P 2 over the summer and it's from 5-10 two nights a week. I'm looking for a good lunch bag/box that'll keep my foods cold and is durable to last me through nursing school. Any suggestions? Thank you!

I have one from Trader Joe's that I like. It's insulated and has two side pockets.

I have a small soft cooler that I use when I'm gone 12+ hours a day (often!). I think I got it at Costco.

Both of these I've had for a couple of years now.

I don't think I would use the one in this post, seems like bad luck....

:roflmao: Okay, that wasn't nice. It was funny though.....

I would go into the fishing aisle and look at the small hard plastic coolers. I think they hold six cans. Those truly work but they are kind of bulky. If you want something soft, I would look at the smaller but thicker bags. I'd invest in those small blue ice packs too.

A little pricey but SO AMAZING. It makes me excited to eat lunch lol. Check out planet box lunch boxes :) Keeps my stuff nice and cold or hot if I want..

 Let's not even go there!

In all seriousness, I go a lunch box from Target…I it is insulated and has a pouch at the top to hold an ice/freezer pack.

Here's an idea... we used it a lot in graduate school evening classes.

The class got together and each person agreed to take turns 'catering' dinner for the group. Some people brought in food, others ordered pizza or subway sandwiches. It was really fun. It became a 'thing' that was adopted by many other evening classes. The instructors were fully supportive - scheduling breaks to accommodate food set up/delivery.

Of course, graduate classes were only once a week - would be much more difficult if more frequent.

Just a thought . . . great practice for "leadership" and "team leading" skills.

I got this bad boy for taking my lunch to work. Has a two slots, one on each side, that fit an ice pack. Keeps things cold enough.

I like an online company called "Fit & Fresh" for lunch bags, containers, freezer packs, etc. They are a little pricey, but well made and durable.

Thank you everyone! Great suggestions:)
