Hello all,
Has anyone in the past/recently had phone interviews for the Stanford/Lucile Packard RN new grad program? I was wondering if any of you might be able to share tips or questions to help us new grads out? Any help or words of encouragement will do!! :)
Thanks!

I had my phone interview recently. The HR lady I spoke with was really friendly and said that 2/3's of the initial applicants will be contacted for phone interviews. She asked only three pretty basic questions for the actual interview. I only interviewed for LPCH, but I think Stanford is the same story. Good luck! :)
Congrats on getting a phone call! Thanks! =) only 3 questions?! whew!! i'm sure you did great!
do you remember any of them? tips?
do you know what the process is after the phone interview?
after the phone interview, they will choose people for the panel interview. I believe the panel interview is between 3 or 4 candidates and a few people from the hospital (not exactly sure between HR or nurses or managers...) After the panel interview will be an interview with the nurse managers 1 on 1 or not, i'm not sure.
the HR woman I spoke with said they were trying to be quick for the people that are still in the running and to keep an eye on the status on their website because they are actively updating it as your application moves through the process or gets rejected.
good luck, have you gotten a call to schedule your phone interview yet?
