Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital New Grad RN Residency- Fall 2020

Hi! Does anyone know if LPCH will still be opening up their new grad app for the Fall 2020 cohort or if it will be delayed due to the pandemic? I know the app should be opening up in April but their website still has the info from the past cohort period.

CONGRATS!! When was your interview? I'm trying to see how long we should expect to hear back from HR.

My second interview was Monday! I have not heard from HR yet, I only got a call from the unit manager, she said I should get an email from HR by the end of the week, she was hoping. I’ll let you know if/when I hear from HR.

That’s awesome! You’re going to be amazing. They really did stick to that one day turnaround. I guess now I know to wait for the official rejection later this week ?

I had my interview on the 22nd and never heard back. It’s obviously a no but I’m annoyed they didn’t have the decency to notify folks to let know they weren’t chosen. Anyway, just letting folks know cause you might not get a rejection anytime soon. Hella rude.

Same, and I agree. I even sent a follow up email a week ago and no response. Disappointing considering that they said we would hear back regarding our application status like two weeks ago.

I had my interview on the 23rd for Hem/Onc and haven't heard back either. I know some rejections were sent out on Friday but no update since then. I imagine that we will both hear back by this week (whether it's a rejection or an offer/second interview), but I completely understand your frustration. I would love to know myself one way or another. Fingers crossed!

If anyone from Hem/Onc hears today, let me know (I will keep you posted myself)!

Congratulations! What an accomplishment ?

Also, just wanna say that it's super cool of you to leave everyone with some encouragement and truth. No matter the outcome for those of us that haven't heard back yet and those still interviewing, it was an absolute blessing to even interview in the first place and we will all land where we are meant to be. PREACH!

Nope but hoping to hear an update this week. The waiting game is stressful. HR said that we would hear at the earliest this week at the end of my interview ?

What did HR say at the end of your interview?
